Roger is a medical oncologist who was awarded his specialist qualification (FRACP) in 2025. He completed his medical studies at the University of New South Wales in 2017. After completing Basic Physician training at Concord Hospital, he then undertook Advanced Training in Medical Oncology at Liverpool, Campbelltown and Bankstown Hospitals. Roger then completed a Fellowship year as a Clinical Trials Fellow at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals.

Roger joined Children’s Medical Research Institute in 2025 to undertake higher degree research (PhD) through the University of Sydney. With the ProCan Oncology team, his research will focus on applying proteomics to optimise the use of immunotherapy in clinical oncology, with the goal of improving clinical outcomes in patients with cancer.
