Dr Pinki Dey is currently a Bioinformatics Scientist at Children's Medical Research Institute. Prior to that, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the University of New South Wales, Sydney in the area of RNA Biology.
She received her Ph.D. degree in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, where she investigated the role of macromolecular crowding on protein-nucleic acid interactions using Langevin Dynamics Simulations.
She has domain experience in areas around Protein-nucleic acid interactions, Genomics, NGS data analysis, Bi-molecular interactions, Cellular Crowding, Molecular modelling and simulations, Molecular docking, RNA Biology, Neurodegenerative diseases, Cancer Bioinformatics, Bioactivity of natural drug candidates etc.
