Jerresa obtained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Master of Research (MRes) at Macquarie University, Australia. Her research experience ranges from molecular biology, synthetic biology and omics analysis. Her MRes project utilised glycomics and proteomics as a multi-omic approach to study extracellular vesicles in breast cancer. Jerresa joined the ProCan Proteomics team in 2022 as a research assistant, and is involved in the preparation of cancer tissue samples and analysis of samples using mass spectrometry and bioinformatics.
