Clinical Professor Graeme Stewart AM BSc(Med) MBBS PhD FRACP FRCPA, Board Member
Graeme Stewart is Director of Clinical immunology & Allergy, Westmead Hospital and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. He is the Inaugural Director of the Centre for Immunology and Allergy Research, one of the four founding research groups of the Westmead Millennium Institute, now Westmead Institute of Medical Research. His research group focuses on the genetics of autoimmune disease, particularly multiple sclerosis and he is a member of the Governance Group for the 20 nation International Multiple Sclerosis Genetics Consortium. He is a member of the board of Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia and NSW Health Pathology.
He has served on the CMRI Board since 2002 and is Chair of the Institute’s Intellectual Property Committee.
