Emilie Wong

Emilie completed a Bachelor of Advanced Science with honours at the University of Sydney. Her honours project investigated the role of RNA epigenetics in macrophage formation and activation. 

She joined the Stem Cell Medicine group in October 2021 and is involved in differentiating pluripotent stem cells into retinal organoids. These organoids are used to model and study retinal diseases. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and baking.
