Angela Eulalia Fornell Gutierrez

Angela was born in Cadiz, Spain, but she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Genetics. During these years, Angela had the chance to work in the field of gene therapy, specialising in therapies which involve Adeno-associated viral (AAV) vectors.

She joined the Translational Vectorology Research Unit as a Research Assistant in February 2024 to contribute in the development and production of tissue-specific AAV capsids for therapeutic purposes.
