On Tuesday 30 June, we were thrilled to welcome His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), Governor of New South Wales and Mrs Hurley to Children’s Medical Research Institute, Westmead.

After meeting with CMRI Director, Professor Roger Reddel, and Cell Biology laboratory Head, Associate Professor Tracy Bryan, the visit included tours of the ACRF Centre for Kinomics and ACRF Telomere Analysis Centre, before finishing up with an opportunity to enjoy High Tea with volunteers and fundraising committee members whose help and support is invaluable to the running of the institution.

We would like to thank His Excellency and Mrs Hurley for taking the time to show their support of the Institute, and we look forward to welcoming them again in future.
