CMRI is pleased to end the year on a high this month thanks to the community in Sydney supporting our volunteers at a gift-wrapping station at Macquarie Centre.
The shopping centre invited several charities, including CMRI, to use their gift-wrapping station to gain gold coin donations.
Volunteers, including a group of employees from software company Salesforce, and CMRI’s Hills Fundraising Committee worked at the station for several days.
CMRI’s Director of Fundraising Robert Wynn said it was wonderful to be back engaging in the community, and we were overwhelmed with the support.
“It was great to end the year with such fantastic community and corporate support,’’ Mr Wynn said. “We’re especially grateful to Macquarie Centre for hosting us, and the great team at Salesforce for volunteering. We know our scientists will be so happy for that extra support for their vital work.’’
