Jeans for Genes Day 2024 will be on Friday 2nd August!

This Jeans for Genes Day, hundreds of wonderful volunteers will join us to hit the streets, shopping centres and train stations around Sydney to help raise vital funds for Children's Medical Research Institute. 

Many of our volunteers come back year after year because there's nothing quite like the energy and excitement of Jeans for Genes Day! We welcome individuals, families, students, corporate groups, entire offices to join us on the day for a few hours. No experience is necessary - just your enthusiasm and willingness to participate!

On Jeans for Genes Day, our volunteers give up 2 - 6 hours in their day to sell merchandise, collect donations, bring awareness, and make a difference in the fight against childhood diseases.

As a volunteer:

• You can sign up as an individual and meet like-minded volunteers on the day.
• You can get a group of friends or workmates together to form a team.
• You can use your volunteering for community engagement hours, school or university requirements or corporate volunteer days.
• You can become a Location Leader. Location Leaders manage a group of volunteers by guiding and supporting them on the day.
