Rudolf
Rudolf’s involvement with CMRI began through his wife, Liz. She trained as a nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, where CMRI was based at the time.
“I started volunteering at CMRI, helping to develop a database for the Trusts and Foundations team to make their reporting easier.
Through my time here, I saw the incredible work being done in areas like gene therapy and stem cell medicine.
I got to know many people, and I realised just how important their research was — especially with the advancements they were making in treating genetic conditions. It’s beyond what I ever imagined.
That’s why Liz and I decided to leave a gift to CMRI in our Wills. The research they’re doing is groundbreaking, and I want to help ensure they continue making a difference. Leaving a legacy for CMRI makes me feel good, knowing it will help fund their vital work. I encourage others to consider doing the same. You never know if someone you love might one day benefit from these life-saving discoveries."
