Northern Beaches Committee
Established in 2003
The committee has been around since 1960, but was known as the Allambie Committee until 2003, when the network widened and the name changed to Northern Beaches. They host a wide range of fundraising activities to attract everyone, from tennis international championships to old fashion bush dances. The latest event in the mix is the Card and Game Day Luncheon.
The Annual Golf Day is held every year at Mona Vale Golf Course starring Gerard Kelly who donates his time, golfing skills and even models for the fashion parade.
The committee can be seen around the local malls on Jeans for Genes Day selling merchandise and also at Christmas time selling Christmas cards.
We now have sewing days which produce some really gorgeous bits and pieces for our luncheon. It's amazing the talent we have uncovered and the bonding process is priceless.
